We’ve established already that God loves you, and stated in God is Creative that He thinks you’re beautiful. But don’t think for a second that to Him, you’re just another pretty face.
God believes in you.
This isn’t going to be a mini-treatise on the ‘God believes in you, so why don’t you believe in Him?’ challenge. Rather, our focus today is this: God believes in you, so why don’t you believe in you?
Have you ever wondered why God gives us so much freedom? So much power for us to abuse? So many resources for us to hoard and squander? So much time for us to waste?
I think it’s because He thinks we can handle it – with His help.
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13
Furthermore, remember the Great Commission:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18-20
Would He have entrusted such an important mission to us if we weren’t up to it? (And since God knows everything, He knows if we’re up to it or not. Ergo, therefore and ipso-facto …
He knows you can do it. Whatever ‘it’ is.
If you don’t know what ‘it’ is, don’t worry. God does. And He’ll show you, if you let Him.
Peace be with you.
